K101.7 hosted a Bridal Show Extravaganza on Sunday January 25th at Ventosa Vineyards. Though it was a cold morning, it was still beautiful and sunny and the view on Seneca Lake was breathtaking. 

Our company has played at Ventosa Vineyards many times and when they invited us to be in the bridal show, we couldn’t pass it up.  RJ, the banquet manager is so very accommodating and professional as well.  It was nice to visit with him and talk about the upcoming wedding season.  There were many brides and grooms that haven’t booked their reception hall yet and they were definitely interested in Ventosa Vineyards.  (more…)

It was nice to see some of our friends in the wedding business and network with them tonight at the beautiful Genesee Grande Hotel and to discuss their upcoming Bridal Show that will take place on March 1, 2009.  All proceeds from the show will go to the Golisano Children’s Hospital that is committed to helping children with special medical needs, regardless of a family’s ability to pay. The Great Music Company will help in the advertising campaign for this Bridal Show along with the Genesee Grande.  Jenelle, the wedding coordinator, and I are sharing some great ideas for the show such as an informational question and answer session with the top vendors at the show. There will be something for everyone at the show so you will not be bored or disappointed.

The vendors that were in attendance tonight were some of the best in the business here in Central New York and are highly recomended by Genesse Grand. Brian Simmons from Visa Versa & Premier Wedding Vendors, Ed Guarante from Guarante Photography, Rebecca with Rebecca’s Photography, Marybeth Longo with Video Network, Jennifer Comfort with She takes The Cake, Skip Clark from Skip Clark Entertainment, Bill Milhelm from Black Tie Entertainment,  Maria DeSantis from Mario DeSantis Orchestra just to name a few. 

Thanks to Thomas and Jenelle with the Genesee Grande for their hospitality and inviting us for drinks and hors d’oeuvres, which by the way were displayed so beautifully for all of us.  We are looking forward to working with the Genesee Grand Hotel and making this Bridal Show a special event.

It was a very busy December for us, entertaining several holiday parties, weddings, New Years Eve parties, a CD release party, and the Christmas radio shows for B104 and 93Q.  It was one of our most busiest Decembers on record. The events were held at the Turning Stone Casino, Double Tree Hotel, Holiday Inn in Auburn & Holiday Inn at Electronics Parkway, Justin’s Grill, Sheraton University, Eis House, Rusty Rail, Greystone Castle, Sherwood Inn, Embassey Suites, Casa De Copani, Mirbeau Inn, Genesee Grande Hotel, Bella Domani, Cavalry Club, Driver’s Village, Wescott Theater, The Point, Springside Inn, OnCenter, and Bellevue Country Club.
